A little bit of heaven in me

It was good to have felt that way

It was good to have let you in

To hold someone so dear

Notwithstanding reason and its claims

You may say it was stupid

Perhaps you can get away with that

But what I got out of it all

I wouldn't just write it off

Maybe you couldn't see it

You got the world on your side

But what I have is a bit of heaven

To own it millions would die

And although it is not to be

I am grateful for the memory

How I wish you could feel it too

Because it is so beautiful you see

Now I will ferry on ahead

I have things to learn and discover

But as I leave this moment for the next

I won't stop missing you, well not just as yet.
